Concealing a birth is the act of a parent (or other responsible person) failing to report the birth of a child. The term is sometimes used to refer to hiding the birth of a child from friends or family, but is most often used when the appropriate authorities have not been informed about a stillbirth or the death of a newborn. This is a crime in many countries, with varying punishments. England and Wales and Northern IrelandIn England and Wales, and in Northern Ireland, section 60 of the Offences against the Person Act 1861 creates the offence of concealing the birth of a child:

Q. I fell in love with some one at work. She told me that she had broken up with her boyfriend so we could hook up. But she lied to me. She was messing wwith us simultaneously. I was really hurt. especially when she told me that she was pregnant for him. I cried and later iI found myself forgiving her. i visited her in the hospital before she gave birth and she was happy to see me. She came back to work and got in touch with me. we hung out alot. but she hurt me again because she was married to the guy for four months already but never told and she was acting like she wasn't married. So i left her alone.
