Q. I'm getting worried about my cat. She has gave birth to one kitten this morning about 6 AM. Now it is 1:30 and still only one kitten. Judging from the size of her belly, she was definitely carrying more than one kitten. She is panting and licking herself like she is still in labor, but I've never seen it take this long to birth a litter. My other cat gave birth to five kittens within two hours, so I don't know how long it usually takes. She's really an outdoor cat and is a little feral, but she decided to have her kittens in the bed of my dad's old truck he doesn't drive. I know I should leave her alone as much as possible and give her privacy, but i was just wondering if I should be concerned about how long its taking.
