A club is an association of two or more people united by a common interest or goal. A service club, for example, exists for voluntary or charitable activities; there are clubs devoted to hobbies and sports, social activities clubs, political and religious clubs, and so forth. Once people started living together in larger groups, there was need for people with a common interest to be able to associate despite having no ties of kinship. Isn't it just a little too easy for these big clubs in Scotland.I know they both do well in Europe but domestically it would seem a miracle for any other club to win. Take them to golfsmith, or any pro-shop, they can tell you very quickly. Cost $0. To get standard length just cut the grip off, trim the shaft and re-grip, easy. Grips are $2-$8 each, soap and water grip tape is $3-$5. Lie adjustment may or may not be needed. You need lie tape and an impact board. Most pro-shops can adjust a lie and loft for $2-$4 per club, less if you re doing a full set. Q. I'm looking to buy my first set of golf clubs tomorrow. I don't want to spend an incredible amount, but I also don't want the clubs to break when i try to hit the ball and accidently swipe the grass. Any tips on what I should be looking for when I go to Sports Authority or Dick's Sporting Goods tomorrow and try holding some clubs and irons in my hand? PS: I plan on playing at least once a week. Usually shops have new technology in them which tells you how straight you hit the shot , distance, etc,etc. Just head for the shops during sales and you'll get a good deal.
