I need an article on the study of Haptics?
Q. I have this class called interpersonal communication and right now we are learning about nonverbal communication. The professor wants us to find an article about haptics online and write a page summary on the article. I know it's not so hard but don't have lots of time to search google. So if anyone knows a good article on haptics that isn't that long please send me a link. Thanks

With haptics, is it still statuary rape?
Q. We're moving towards a technical future where an adult can have virtual sex with a minor via the internet. Assuming that it is consensual, if it's only virtual sex, is it still statuary rape? Okay, statutory. My bad. farien3, I have to admit that you've answered my question correctly, the way I had it written. Barry C, isn't law complicated enough already without getting into virtual law?

A. It's only statuary rape if the statue actually has sex with you. I should warn you however, having sex with a statue can be painful and unsatisfying.

A. Haptics refers to touch in interpersonal communication. Arguably, it is the most important form of nonverbal behavior. Otherwise known as tacesics, it is one of the first senses to develop in newborn infants. This development comes in the form of temperature recognition, contact/pressure recognition, and the recognition of enjoyable touch. Children exploit the latter, by obtaining rubber toys, stuffed animals, even teething rings to intensify the experience.

Do you know these interesting things about flirting?
Q. Old or young, homosexual or heterosexual, black or white there's one somewhat bizarre form of social behaviour displayed by all of us, albeit in varying amounts and to varying degrees of success. Whether it be a coy glance or a toss of the head, people of all cultures (and even some animals) like to partake in the time-old ritual of flirting. Why We Flirt According to Dr Monica Whitty of the University of Western Sydney, there are a few different reasons why we flirt. Generally we flirt to stimulate sexual interest, but sex is not always the ultimate goal. Often people flirt to see if people find them attractive, but apparently we sometimes flirt just for the fun of it. Evolutionary psychologists argue that we flirt in order to protect… [cont.]
